Although Ogden is not that famous in Utah, its cultural richness and lower prices make up for it. Retirees who wish for an active lifestyle and can handle a bit of cold during winters would feel welcomed here. Skiers and hikers would love the mountains here in the winter and in the summer, as in the case of those who like kayaking and canoeing, who’d enjoy the local rivers. Both natural forms of recreation and inside activities are available, such as golf and fitness at the Salomon Recreation Center.
