There’s good news and there’s bad (and costly) news when it comes to Rancho Mirage, California. If you want to move there you should be prepared to pay an average of $620,099.88 for a home. On the bright side, you’ll be surrounded by your own community, seeing as more than half of residents are 65 and over. The other good news is that you won’t have to worry about taxes on retirement income and Social Security. We can’t help but wonder if that’s really going to make a difference to your budgeting in the long run.
