Healthcare Costs Are Rising Quickly for Older Americans

Have you considered how much money you’re going to need for health care costs alone during retirement? The most recent studies suggest that a couple would need $275,000, a figure that has steadily increased by 70% since 2002. 

A lot of soon-to-be retirees have recognized the enormity of this sum and have pushed all their other savings towards it. After all, healthcare is not an area that people can disregard. That’s why for all other expenses they turn towards their Social Security, which may never be enough to provide a comfortable, stress-free life.
