Avoid These 20 Cities If You Want a Worry-Free Retirement

Seniors who want to take a bite out of The Big Apple, beware. The average house will cost you upwards of $800,000. Still, we know this city will attract many seniors especially those looking for a mishmash of different cultures, or those who want to see as many Broadway shows as they can during retirement.

An alternative would be relocating outside of the metro area. You’d be spending more time and a little bit of money on train rides back and forth, but at least you won’t be breaking the bank. We think this is a decent compromise for those who are serious about maintaining their budget but still want to enjoy all that New York has to offer.

Our next location will likely chop down your retirement funds…..

    I can tell you first hand,Don’t move to Calif!!! I lived in Calif most of my life and in a couple months am going to retire and get out of Calif..too expensive,everything is taxed and housing prices are terrible.
