Your Supervisor Becomes More Hands-On

While some bosses might stoop down to making rude comments about your age, others might try to make your work unpleasant in other ways. This is in order to get you to walk out on your own as tensions build up.

Employers who suddenly micromanage your work and hover over you whenever they can? Better watch out for them, as these are clear signs that something is up! They might also be very critical or nitpicky. So while they won’t show you out the door, they’re sure hoping you’ll be making that decision yourself.

After all, who wants to work in such a suffocating environment?
