Does Your Employer Want You to Retire? Here Are 15 Ways to Tell!

March 16, 2020 · Retirement Life

They Stop Investing In You

You can tell what an employer is thinking based on the feedback they give you. In some cases, the response to your work could be rather cold, aiming to put you in an uncomfortable situation. Most people who are approaching senior ages tend to then look down on their capabilities and might think it’s time to retire.

Other places of business might be a little more subtle still. For example, feedback meetings might before less and less frequent, and when they do take place they’re rather short and uninformative. Keep in mind that your managers probably don’t have or don’t want to invest in you anymore.

Are your efforts going unnoticed? Do you feel like there’s no possibility to grow anymore? These are the things you need to be aware of the more time you spend in a company.
