Be a little self-centered

It’s normal to be super excited that your distant uncle on your mother’s side left you 2,500 acres somewhere in Iowa, but it’s also better to keep it a secret, at least for a little while, especially if you’re planning on selling that land. You never know when someone else in your family will want a piece of the pie.
