How to report a Social Security scam

If you suspect that you’ve been the victim of a scam after reading this article, or you simply want to report calls or correspondence that you think is suspicious, you should know that you’re not out of options!

You can always call your local authorities or the OIG hotline (1-800-269-0271), or even submit a fraud report on the OIG’s website. There is also a section on the FTC’s complaint website, where you can report a scam.
