10 Common Myths That Might Be Killing Your Early Retirement Plans

March 26, 2021 · Retirement Life

You’ll lose your purpose

Now, this is just another example of an early retirement myth. If there’s anyone more goal-oriented and motivated, it’s someone who wants to retire early. That’s because the purpose of future early retirees is to start the new chapter of their life; this new chapter is their ultimate purpose, and they’ll have the rest of their retirement days to fulfill it.

Besides, even without a specific purpose, there are very few people who want to leave the workforce earlier just so that they could sit around and do nothing all day long. Once you retire early, you’ll have all the time in the world to focus on things that truly make you happy and find purpose in everything you do.
