Will You Work During Retirement? 10 Shocking Retirement Stats!

October 27, 2020 · Retirement Life

The pandemic

The Novel Coronavirus has done damage to the world the likes of which we could hardly imagine. Unsurprisingly, COVID-19 has also ruined a lot of retirement plans across the nation, on top of the medical crisis it has created for seniors.

A survey from FlexJobs revealed that 32% of older workers were searching for part-time opportunities or gig work even during these unprecedented times, while 12% of those over the age of 50 said they had no choice but to start using some of their retirement savings.

Given that it doesn’t look like we’ll see the end of this pandemic any time soon, it’s time to rethink your retirement strategy in order to ensure you won’t run out of funds!
