There are more and more retirees than ever that are going back to work after they retire. Why? Maybe because their pension isn’t quite enough to cover all their expenses, or they are trying to help their kids out with their finances. Or, even better, they are full of life and still want to be in the middle of the action.
Whatever the reason, we appreciate them and encourage their power. If you consider taking a part-time job after you retire, there are plenty of options out there. Not only that, but on our list, we have some jobs that anyone would dream of! So, we say you should waste no time, and see what job meets your hobbies and needs!
You did not mention retail merchandiser. These people work for 3rd parties (outside companies) to help retailers such as Target, Walmart, Publix, Home Depot, etc get tasks done. These tasks are typically 10 to 30 minutes long and depending on the area you live in, available in all the branches of the retailer you are working with. You can sign up for these jobs online, complete the projects on your schedule (within a one or two-week time frame), and get paid by electronic payment. The tasks include placing coupons on products, checking for product availability in the store, and setting up small displays. The work is reported using your phone. This is a great job for seniors.
Is this a joke? The retired people, that I know, all have health issues, and need sit, down jobs. This article lists many that say, “it’s hard work, but”. I have a 70 year old friend, who just quit Starbucks after 2 weeks, due to the intensity of learning. Anyway, in the richest country in the world, we have too many seniors that MUST work to make ends meet! WHY????
