2. You’re Still Working

Anyone is allowed to collect benefits while working, but that doesn’t mean you should. The reasons for this are twofold. As we’ve already discussed, you’ll be cutting your checks down for doing so early.

But another reason why you shouldn’t do this is because you’ll experience another cut if you claim before you reach retirement age and if your wages go over a certain amount. The best thing for you to do is to wait for a few more years.

Not only will you get more money, but you’ll also be avoiding slashing your finances while doing so.
