Not Realizing How Much You Need for Retirement

If retirement is just around the corner, you need to make a short assessment of your financial situation: your current salary, your expenses as well as possible medical costs in retirement. You could also ask a financial planner to help you calculate how much money you’ll require in order to retire and live your golden years comfortably.

On the other hand, if you’re light years away from retirement, think of a savings rate to estimate the amount you should deduct from your paycheck on a monthly basis and transfer into your retirement savings account.
