We Found The Best 20 Neighborhoods for Retirees

April 24, 2019 · Retirement Life

9. Wolf Creek — Dallas

Still looking for an affordable place for your nest egg? Wolf Creek’s got you covered. Here the median listing price is the second-lowest on our list at $169,900. In the greater Dallas area, you’d be expected to pay up around $385,000! Talk about a budget-friendly neighborhood for retirees, which by the way make up 15.4% of the population.

The residents of Wolf Creek also boast a friendly community where children can play outside, so if the grandkids ever come round to visit, you needn’t worry too much about their entertainment.

It’s close to the downtown area, but if you’re looking for more close-to-home entertainment then you needn’t look further than the John E. Kincaide Stadium. Finally, Wolf Creek’s livability score is a comfortable 74.
