Should the Rich Fix Our Social Security?

The Future of the Payroll Tax

Looking at the numbers it’s abundantly clear that our Social Security program needs some help. Its survival is based on changes that are most likely to lead to even more changes, from lifting the tax cap to changing how benefits are calculated.

Currently, these issues are in the hands of our political leaders. One thing is for certain, and that is the fact that adjustments need to be made. Some of these could be minimal, while others are gunning for legislations that would shake the foundation of the program.
