25 Tips to Boost Your 401(K) Now!

May 11, 2020 · Personal finance

23. Auto-Increase Your Contribution

Some financial decisions are best left to automated processes, especially if skipping them could mean you’re losing money on a monthly or yearly basis.

The same goes for your 401(k) contributions, which you should auto-increase. All it takes is the click of a button. You can log on to your account and tick a box, it’s that simple.

Today, you might be contributing 5%. Next year, you’ll be contributing 6% and so on and so forth without needing to go over-complicated processes. By simply allowing your savings to grow this way you’ll ensure your long term goals faster than you might expect.
