7 Retirement Financial Mistakes to Avoid

November 11, 2019 · Personal finance

Not Saving Enough

If you’ve followed our first tip then you should be aware of how much you need to save up before retirement age strikes. Even so, knowing what you’re supposed to do and actually implementing your tasks are two very different things.

If you find that you’re struggling, try to pinpoint exactly what the issue is. Overspending? Not enough money in the first place? Don’t shrug and claim your situation can’t be helped and instead try to find workarounds. Trim a bit of your spending or try taking up a few freelance gigs or side hustles here and there. Every little helps. Your future self will be thankful for the extra effort you put in. Do it now while you can instead of suffering later.
