14 Tips To Make The Most Of Your Social Security Check

Move to a tax-friendly state

Washington D.C. as well as most states in America do not levy any taxes on Social Security. But you can enjoy your benefits even longer if you relocate to a state which imposes even fewer taxes (if you don’t already live in one, that is).

For instance, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming do not have any state income taxes or taxes on pension income while Alaska and New Hampshire do not impose taxes on sales or income, according to data provided by AARP.
