If you’re retired and don’t know what to do with your spare time what would you say about earning some extra money? You don’t have to do something that takes up all your time. Just enough to keep you busy for a couple of hours.

To this end, you could help out people while they’re out of town by taking care of their house. House sitters are usually in charge of watering the plants and making sure everything’s all right with the place.

Extra Tip: For job opportunities as a house sitter, apart from the traditional word of mouth, you can find specialized websites such as rover.
