In Raleigh, the number of working seniors has seen a staggering 78 percent growth in these past ten years, ranking ninth in this category. Since 2009, the city’s senior population grew about 46 percent. Some job opportunities include business associate, sales representative, technical sales manager. Seniors in the workforce: 21.3%

Senior population: 33,768

In Huntington Beach, there has been a spike of 64% in its number of working seniors over the past decade, while the senior population increased by 36%. over the same period of time. The city’s rising numbers of working seniors helped Huntington Beach earn the 20th place among all other states.

Senior population: 74,930

The 65-and-older population in the state’s capital is the fastest-growing group among all other demographics, with seniors expected to reach 18.8% of Oklahoma residents by 2030. Therefore, it is not at all surprising that Oklahoma City has managed to snatch a place among the first 25 cities with high percentages of working seniors.

Senior population: 57,339

Although Virginia Beach’s 55 or older demographic makes up for over 25 percent of the city’s overall population, there are not so many opportunities for this age category. According to RetirementJobs, there are a little over 450 job postings, ranging from line cook to nurse and sales representatives.

Senior population: 462,838

Compared to other metropoles that did not make the cut, Los Angeles managed to land among the top 25 cities with a large senior workforce. Most of the cities that earned a spot on the Provision Living list have a population of 500,000 or more. What’s more, seniors get to choose from more than 3,447 postings for available jobs, ranging from senior claim representative to senior guide, account executive, and audit consultant.
